We are spiritual beings made in God’s image. In the book of Genesis, God spoke the earth into existence. Through God’s Spirit, we have the absolute power to speak Life or Death into existence. Isn’t that what the Bible says?
If you want to start seeing good things happen in your life, you must begin speaking and declaring the promises in God’s Word!
I continue to see this manifestation unfold in my own life. When I finally decided to get out of my way, renewed that “childlike faith,” and earnestly began to Proclaim and BELIEVE God’s words, and then put my faith into action… that’s when things began to change.
We are often not experiencing the breakthroughs we want because we are not verbally speaking out what we believe about God’s Word; instead, we are speaking about what we are feeling in the present moment.
Years ago, my Pastor’s wife made me recant and restate something that I had said. I can’t remember now what it was, but she would not continue the conversation until I had taken back the negative words I was speaking into my life.
Think about it: how often have you said things like, this headache is killing me,” “I feel awful today, or I am broke.” Yes, if you keep proclaiming that you are broke, that’s all you will ever be!!
There will be some listeners that are doubting what I am saying. You can disbelieve me but Believe in God’s Word. Isaiah 53:5 states, “he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by HIS wounds we are Healed.”
Many years ago, I walked away from my job. The need for money and my numerous bills were no longer enough justification to keep me in my self-imposed prison of a job. I had a choice to either start believing and speaking God’s Word for my life or continue to die a slow death. I chose to live and not just live but to live life more abundantly.
What do you believe God for today? What words of faith do you need to speak over your life today?
Perhaps you are suffering from a sickness and facing the possibility of surgery and desire to be healed. Or you lost your job and do not have the money to pay your rent or mortgage.
Or maybe, like I was, you’re just miserable in your job and have a strong desire to be self-employed. Regardless of your current situation, open up your Bible and claim God’s Word over your life!!
Instead of discussing how challenging the situation is, start declaring what God says about you and the obstacles you face.
If you need healing, declare scriptures like Psalm 30:2: Oh LORD my God, I thank you that I called to you for help, and you healed me. Or, I thank you, Lord, by Jesus’ stripes, I am healed!”
Instead of worrying about your debt, say, “I call my debt supernaturally canceled in Jesus’ name. I can do this confidently because My God supplies All (not some) but ALL my needs according to His riches in glory!”
If you are dealing with some battle quote – Psalm 23:4 – I thank you, Lord, that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Or I thank you, Lord, that just like your words say, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
If you want God’s manifestation in your life, you must keep your tongue from speaking unbelief and release the power of the Lord through your mouth into your situation!
God wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. That’s the childlike faith that God talks about. Stating the obvious doesn’t change anything and will only make us more fearful. On the other hand, speaking the good we want to see gives us hope, builds faith, and changes things for the better as God’s power is released.
Which of God’s promises are you declaring today?
